Lynn Keller

Lynn Keller was Bradshaw Knight Professor of the Environmental Humanities and director of CHE from August 2016 to August 2019. She is the Martha Meier Renk Bascom Professor of Poetry Emerita in the English department. She specializes in contemporary North American poetry and is the author of:
- Recomposing Ecopoetics: North American Poetry of the Self-Conscious Anthropocene
- Thinking Poetry: Readings in Contemporary Women’s Exploratory Poetics
- Forms of Expansion: Recent Long Poems by Women
- Re-Making it New: Contemporary American Poetry and the Modernist Tradition
- Numerous articles and a co-edited collection, Feminist Measures: Soundings in Poetry and Theory
She co-edits the Contemporary North American Poetry Series of scholarly books from the University of Iowa Press. Her current project concerns recent ecopoetic explorations of botanical life and its significance in the Anthropocene.
