Applications are open for the 2024-2025 CHE research group awards.
Research proposals must be submitted by the working group lead no later than April 14, 2024. Working group research must address human dimensions of an environmental issue. We encourage all applicants to contact CHE (che@nelson.wisc.edu) regarding proposal ideas prior to submission. Proposals can be submitted at any stage of group member recruitment (e.g., actively recruiting collaborators, open to accepting new collaborators, or closed to additional collaborators), but must meet the minimum requirements outlined in this CfP at the time of submission.
All UW–Madison faculty, graduate students, and academic staff are eligible to apply for (funded or unfunded) CHE sponsorship of a research working group; however, the working group lead must be a CHE associate (or apply to become one). Each working group requesting funding is eligible to receive an award of $5,500 or less. All working groups selected for sponsorship are eligible to apply for sponsorship renewal at the conclusion of the sponsorship period.
