The Center for Culture, History, and Environment (CHE) is home to graduate, faculty, and community associates — spanning an array of intellectual backgrounds — joined by the common mission of understanding environmental change within historical, social, and/or cultural contexts. Each of our Associates plays an integral role in making CHE a unique and supportive community for interdisciplinary research, learning, and service.
CHE welcomes scholars, scientists, and community members across disciplinary traditions to join us in pursuit of better understanding human dimensions of environmental issues across time and space.
